Your crown is one of the most critical aspects of your body. It's one of the central commands of your body. It possesses your ears(provide hearing), eyes( provide vision), mouth (eat, drink, speaking, singing ), and nose (smell).

The crown is one aspect of our body that provides functions for the rest of the body - we can't take that lightly. We must take the necessary precautions to protect our crown.

Let me clear, and I just started to call Kingsskid a business. I shied away from calling it a company for such a long time, which was detrimental to its growth and development. Remember when I first started my place of purpose and I said, "the world will catch up with the word," meaning that whatever it is that you're called or purposed to do, God will always tell it to you first, and it is our job to go out in the world and execute it.

Calling it a business, I felt an added pressure to perform. I advised you all not to sleep on your transferable abilities in the last blog, and for some reason, I could not let it go just to find out how David advocated for himself before his battle with Goliath. After reading, I realized that David and I had some similarities in advocating for ourselves for opportunities. With the sudden shift of Covid , this has forced some companies to allow their employees to work from home. Working from home has its benefits but I want to drop some jewels for the kings and queens who are adjusting to the #remotelife or wok from home life. Covid does not have to stop you from living a Crowned Life in Corporate America, you can do this, you were called to do this and you will do this

Company reduction in forces is not always beautiful but it is a chance for you to learn, grow, re -strategize and focus on how to move forward into something that more aligns with what you desire or to something that challenges you on a deeper level.

January is considered National Mentoring Month and as I sit at the intersection of both the mentor and the mentee I am reminded of reverse mentoring. Reverse mentoring can happen inside and outside of Corporate America. I would not limit reverse mentoring to Corporate America, it can be beneficial for churches, schools, even parental relationships
