Excerpt: On October 6, 2017, I had the opportunity to be the speaker at an event I hold near and dear to my heart. That event was Miss Paul Quinn College Royalty Tea. I did not know what to speak and prayed that God gave me the right words to say. As I pondered what words to say, the word C.R.O.W.N.E.D was revealed to me. The acronym represented the things that I learned while I was a student at Paul Quinn College, during my reign as Miss Paul Quinn College and those things still serve me well to this day.

The refining process requires us to be great stewards of our time, talent, and treasures, and we must manage this process with the partnership. I am dropping jewels on 4R's that will help you help you on this CROWNED Life Journey.

Many times we compromise our crown in corporate spaces when negotiating products and services. #OnTheBlog I am dropping jewels on how to stop comprising your crown. Comprising your crown isn't conducive to the calling that God has on your life, it dismantles the destiny that God has for you.

We can no longer afford to sit on the sideline when it comes to who we are. We are the Kingsskid. We are God's chosen people, and the world is watching how God's children will handle crises, frustration, and confusion. #OnTheBlog I am dropping jewels on how to stop being a sideline saint and how to become a kingdom agenda pusher.

Listennnnnnnnnnnnnnnn... I get it sometimes it seems like there are not enough hours in the day however, #ontheblog I am dropping jewels that may be preventing you from experiencing God's word; reading God's word should be a transforming experience, not a transactional one.

When we learn to embrace this experience, we can walk in freedom, clarity and ultimately live the crowned life

I remember the struggle; I wanted to achieve specific goals by a particular age, and I had a wish list of how I wanted my life to be. The struggle was between what I desired and what God had already determined. When I stopped fighting and started believing, the battle was over, and my walk with God became much more serene.

If you say that someone is refined, you mean that they are very polite and have good manners and good taste. ... refined and well-dressed ladies. Synonyms: cultured, civil, polished, tasteful More Synonyms of refined.”

Reading the above statement prompted the title of this blog, with a heavy emphasis on the divinely because I genuinely want to push the fact that living the CROWNED Life and being Refined is not about the outside but what’s true on the inside.

There was a time I was only confident when I had a certain amount of money in my bank account and if that amount dwindled, so did my confidence; this caused me to create an idol of money.

I had the opportunity to share THE CROWNED Life Journey on the Voyage Dallas, I am super excited and thankful for my Soror and Cohort Sister Kenisha Elaine for recommending me. I had the opportunity to have a dialogues with Consultant/Content Creator, Docverde Consulting, LLC, this is one podcast that I enjoy listening to, this podcast has fed my soul and inspired me. This is a podcast that I listened to for sometime and I told myself that I would be a guest on this podcast and here we are. Dr. Green is a Consultant, Educator, Traveler and Uplifter. I wish this could merely be a post about God’s covering and what He’s done for black people. But I could not write with such a limited scope when God’s promises apply to all of those in the kingdom, not the culture

I invited my purpose partner, my all that and more friend Calandra Williams to share with us what does it mean to be Covered by God and let me tell you she executed effortlessly. Her charge for us was to:

Decide today to allow God into your heart to be your covering. Understanding that you can do nothing apart from Him. The idea came from Him and you need Him to give you play-by-play on how to launch and grow it.

Remember, impact and influence comes from being in the right relationship with Jesus Christ!

Creating - bring (something) into existence

Cultivating- try to acquire or develop (a quality, sentiment, or skill)

Everything that you create must be cultivated.

God created plants, but he cultivated them by ensuring they had water to sustain them.

Our parents created, but they had to take the time (or have community) to help cultivate us into who we are today.

When we create new habits, they must be cultivated to sustain adequately.

So many times, we start the new year off with goals to launch, execute and do big things, and as the year progress, we lose sight of our dreams and lose momentum and before you know it, the year is almost over only for us to realize that we have accomplished the things we set out to accomplish.

They say the only constant thing is change, and I agree.I want to share with you some jewels that will allow you to embrace the shift and change that we experience on this CROWNED Life journey.

This CROWNED Life journey comes with many twists and turns. Typically around this time of the year, a shift happens for me spiritually, personally, professionally. I will be dropping the jewels on how God switched up my crown.

You know I am all about learning, developing, and growing not just myself but others, that’s the reason why Kingsskid was created. As we gear up for Self Improvement Month, I want to introduce you to some of the people that are dropping jewels this year.

Next Month is Self Improvement Month,, this month I will share the WHY behind my love for Self Improvement Month. it's the one month I focus on everything that Kingsskid represents. I invite my good friends and interview them on topics that help us live the crown life, including spiritual development, personal development, and professional development.
